The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter is a clerical society of apostolic life and pontifical right. Founded in 1988, this community of priests in service to the Church has a twofold mission: the formation and sanctification of priests, and their pastoral work in the dioceses. The Fraternity of Saint Peter serves the Church by living the liturgy according to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, as provided for in its constitutions definitively approved by the Church.
